These are acrylic painting mini workshops and other projects that are fast and fun. As a bonus for you busy folks, there's very little homework or none at all!
Come to the studio for a fun half day of creativity. Coffee, tea and baked goodies are my treat!

In this fun mini workshop, learn how to turn recycled tins into functioning pieces of funky art.
Your all-inclusive 3-hour art session teaches how to prepare tin for proper paint adhesion and how to protect it for longevity.
You’ll get to experiment with paper collage as well as learn how to create visual and tactile texture. You’ll get to play with rubber stamps, stencils, inks, paints…just about anything goes.
Your choices of colours will be unlimited. You can art up your tin in a moody Goth style or give your tin an all out girlie flair. That’s all up to you! Your tin can become a clock as shown here, or you can leave it plain as a handy catch all on your desk or dresser.
I’ll guide you along and teach you some interesting techniques and in no time at all you’ll be in your own world doing your own thing.
Your afternoon includes, one prepared and primed tin. You will have access to everything necessary to create your one-of-a-kind tin.
NO ART EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Clock works and handle sold separately.

Another awesome mini workshop to liven up your March break!!
Enjoy a 3-hour art session while personalizing your very own arsty-fartsy clipboard! Functionality and art collide!!!
You’ll get to experiment with all sorts of stuff. Use pretty papers for interesting background effects or slip/slap some paint combinations of your choice. You can doodle a face of your own design or use some line drawings that you can transfer on to the clipboard. Then you add touches of paint and as much bling as you can stand!
I’ll hang around and help with some interesting techniques. Mostly I think you’ll be happy to just be doing your own thing.
Your afternoon includes access to all art supplies.
Please bring a plain wooden clipboard available from Staples or Dollarama. If you prefer, you can use this class to art up the cover of a paper journal. Or heck, why not do one of each!!
