Ottawa sprawls over such a large area, so you can do art tours from the inner city way out into the rural countryside. Come and see for yourself. I've added some shows within driving distance of Ottawa...exciting places like Montreal, Quebec and Toronto, Ontario. In the near future I will be dedicating web space for each province of Canada.
On Saturday, August 7th, 2010 from 10 AM – 5 PM, the public is invited to attend this 9th annual exhibition and sale which will feature over 150 of the area’s most talented artists and artisans drawn from many fine professional associations. There will be a silent auction, performers, food and refreshments, BBQ etc. Art in Strathcona Park is a fundraising and public awareness event organized by the Ottawa Chapter, Schizophrenia Society of Ontario. New this year entertainment provided by Mad About the Arts. Free admission.
Strathcona Park is located between the Rideau River and Range Road, south of Laurier Avenue East, an idyllic location that draws many visitors.
