EARMARK STUDIO is pleased to announce that the talented artist and instructor Joanne Purdy will be a regularly featured guest instructor.

If you've always wanted to try oils, this is your chance!

Joanne embraces the beginner oil painter as much as the more advanced. She is passionate about art and about sharing her knowledge.

Here's a short bio....

Joanne Purdy grew up in a town north of Ajax, Ontario, where at a young age she was fascinated with the world of art.

It was a way of expressing her deepest emotions, such as joy, hope, sorrow and her achievements. She believes that it is important to live in balance with the nature around us, and what we feel comes out in our art.

Joanne has been teaching oil painting for the last 25 years and when you join her for one of her one day seminars, it is a very laid back and relaxed atmosphere.

During the seminar, she will guide you through your oil painting step by step. You just cannot fail!

You will learn how to color harmonize, put depth and distance into your painting and you will complete your painting by the end of the day.
