I have always joked that art is my therapy and cheaper than a shrink- so the words, "Art is music for the soul "came to me one night as an expression of the joy art gives me.

I love butterflies and they express the freedom I feel when doing art.

The rest of it came together in my mind's eye and then evolved as I put thoughts into expression.

To get the mottled effects I used a combination of paint splattering, alcohol inks and those spray glimmer mists. A bit of this, a bit of that and it all came together.

I already have another one developing in my head- hopefully to be started this coming weekend.
