Hello from the studio!

I've been working on new workshops for this winter and early spring. I hope you like my selections as much as I enjoyed painting them! Some were challenging!

This year I will be adding more and more classes as time permits. If you have any themes or projects you'd like me to teach by all means drop me a line and I'll see what I can do.

I hope that 2011 will be a creative year for all of you!

Cheryl Poulin

This is my adaptation of Roni LaBree's beautiful design. Pretty much all of the work is done in class!

There are quite a few new projects and here's where you can see the rest.

I've added EAT, PLAY, PAINT, a fun day for making spontaneous art and opening up to creative exploration.

A wonderful women's play day!

It's like a mini art retreat!!!

It was crazy popular last year and it looks like this year will be the same.

A great way to get the girlfriends together for some down time!!! Refresh the batteries,as it were.

I supply everything, including lunch, snacks and beverages. Feel free to bring wine if you wish!

Prepare for inevitable giggles!

Here are all of the exciting details!

For anyone wanting to learn more about mixed media or how to create really interesting background textures I've created the "Acrylic Lab and Special Effects".

In this workshop you create, with my specific instructions, texture charts as reference material.

As well, you'll experiment with interesting faux techniques that you can apply to future artwork.

In October 2010, the West Carleton Arts Society held its annual "Expressions of Art", an art exhibit and sale featuring the works of over 30 local artists.

I was very delighted when my painting was chosen for the People's Choice award.

"Le Ballet des Poissons" or Fish Ballet, presently hangs in the West Carleton Medical Center in Carp, along with more of my works.

Here's my latest recipe!
