HELLO FROM THE STUDIO

HARVEST MOON ORCHARD

CARP FAIR

WEST CARLETON ARTS SOCIETY

QUOTABLE ART QUOTES

Hello from the studio!

The end of summer nears and fall is in the air. Love this time of year.

I've been busy in the studio creating some new projects for you. I've even created 2 new original designs!

Here's where you can see the projects.

Plus, I've added EAT, PLAY, PAINT, a fun day for making art and opening up to creative exploration. A wonderful grown-up play day! For more information....

This summer I've had the pleasure of doing many semi-private weekend workshops. I wish I had thought to take photos of everyone's work, however I didn't.

Jessica Tran and Pauline Kit were two eager students a few weekends ago. Arriving without any experience, here's what they created during their weekend retreat.... They said they had a great time and can't wait to do it again!

HARVEST MOON ORCHARD

If you're out and about this season, why not drop by Harvest Moon Orchard.

This family run business grows over 70 varieties of heirloom apples. Mary-Lynne Geddes and her husband Randy McGuire also have a huge gift shop filled with fresh produce, vintage items, used books, gift-ware, ornaments, original art and crafts. And great apples, of course!

Yours truly has a few pieces on display. Ahem!

The orchard is located at 4625 Carp Road, Carp, Ontario. Call 613-839-0378 for store hours. Here's the website for more information.

CARP FAIR

The 147th Annual Carp Fair will be on from September 23rd to 26th.

Known as the "Best Little Fair in Canada", this is an event you don't want to miss. Bring the family, bring your camera and bring your appetite...awesome food vendors!
