MIXED MEDIA ART CLASSESSPRING / SUMMER 2013 ScheduleMy mixed media art classes are inspiring and rewarding. In these classes there's a sense of freedom and of play. Joy is abundant! These are workshops for trying various techniques and experimenting with different approaches to making abstract or non-representational art. You don't need any experience in art at all to come and explore a new way of expressing yourself that's uniquely yours. My role in the studio is to facilitate and guide you as you explore your creativity through the use of mediums, papers, paints and much more. I'm also delighted to have awesome guest teachers in the studio from time to time. PAINT and SCISSORS: COLLAGE and TRANSFER with GOLDEN
Back by popular demand, Andrea Warren brings us yet another exciting workshop featuring Golden products. During this weekend workshop, we'll be using a variety of decorative papers, found and unique images and recycled materials... and of course, a wide variety of Golden paints, gels and molding pastes. Delve into the intriguing world of collage. Rip, cut, layer, stain, pour, paste, stencil and transfer your way into three finished mixed media pieces, including 1 on plexiglass. Includes coffee and tea in the morning. Followed by a delicious lunch. ACRYLIC LIKE STAINED GLASSIn this fun weekend workshop we will be exploring a variety of possibilities for using acrylic on glass. From mimicking traditional stained glass using only acrylic products, to image transfers, this class will give you a variety of ideas for working on glass. Create three pieces from start to finish, ready to frame and hang! Includes coffee and tea in the morning. Followed by a delicious lunch.
