Add interest to your painting projects with these fabulous techniques! FAUX ENCAUSTIC Duration: 3 hours Encaustic, meaning painting with bees wax, is a wonderful art form dating way back. This technique replicates the richness of the wax look using today's modern acrylic mediums. -------------------------------------------------------------- MARBLEIZED SKINS MARBLEIZED PAINTING LAYERS Duration: 3 hours Using poured gels and paint drips to create interesting marbleized effects. --------------------------------------------------------------- HOLOGRAPHIC EFFECTS FAUX METALLIC PAINTS Duration: 3 hours These are really magical effects and incredible finishing sheens. These techniques add a very contemporary edge to both traditional and non-traditional painting. Learn to combine pastes and gels to create a textured surface and then apply real metallic and interference paints freely and through stencils to achieve a reflective and textured work of art.
